Mohammad Mahdi Salari Appointed as Maritime Affairs Advisor to the Minister of Industry

On 30 October 2023, the Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade appointed Mohammad Mahdi Salari as Maritime Affairs Advisor to the Minister and Head of the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Marine Industries.

The mandate highlighted green propulsion, advanced vessels, drilling platforms, value-chain networking, support for knowledge-based companies, and strengthening the shipbuilding and offshore industries.

He held this position for roughly two years, until September 2025.
